Council of Domestic Entrepreneurs established in Kazakhstan

By order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 7, 2022, the Council of Domestic Entrepreneurs will work in Kazakhstan under the government, Standard.kz reports.

“In accordance with subparagraph 8) of paragraph 1 of Article of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan": to form the Council of Domestic Entrepreneurs under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with Annex 1 to this order," the official document says.

The Council of Domestic Entrepreneurs is a consultative and advisory body under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main tasks of the Council are to develop recommendations and proposals on the following issues:

     - socio-economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     - improvement of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on business issues;

      - creating conditions stimulating the development of a market economy and attracting domestic investment in the country's economy;

      - assessment and improvement of the business and investment climate;

      as well as consideration and discussion of other issues in the field of entrepreneurship and investment policy.

The Council includes the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Chairman of the Council), First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Deputy Chairman of the Council), First Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Secretary of the Council), Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan; all ministers, heads of the NWF "Samruk-Kazyna", the National Holding "Baiterek" and NCE "Atameken".
