In Kazakhstan, from January 24, schools will again switch to offline format

Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov told about the IAB meeting about a number of restrictions on school education.

       Minister of Health Azhar Giniyat noted that the epidemiological situation has deteriorated by an average of 5.6 times over the past week. The highest incidence increased in Karagandy region - 28 times, Almaty - 11 times, Atyrau and Akmola regions, as well as in Almaty - 9-9.5 times.

       Based on the results of the discussion, the IAC proposed to allow full-time training:

in preschool organizations - at the request of parents (in the "red", "yellow", "green" zones);

       - up to 600 students in general education schools;

       - more than 600 students in secondary schools - the workload does not exceed 50% of the design capacity;

       - in general education schools;

       - grades 1-4 (including grades 5-6 in international schools);

       - in out-of-school organizations;

       - individual lessons, group lessons - up to 15 people, in correctional rooms (centers) for children with disabilities, adults - individual and group lessons up to 8 people;

       - in colleges and universities - in a mixed format: practical, laboratory, seminar, industrial practice - in a regular mode on a flexible schedule, lectures - in an online mode.

       In case of violations of the quarantine regime, the transfer of all students to distance learning in secondary education, colleges and universities is used.

       Yeraly Tugzhanov also instructed to increase the rate of vaccination and revaccination of citizens to curb the spread of infection. The interdepartmental commission supported the use of new drugs for the treatment of coronavirus infections in exceptional cases.
