Poland wants to make a gift to the United States

      Poland has said it is ready to donate a MiG-29 to the United States.

Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau said Poland was ready to deploy its MiG-29 fighter jets at the US Ramstein air base in Germany and would provide them free of charge.

"After consultation with the President and the Government of the Republic of Poland, the authorities of the Republic of Poland are ready to transfer all their MiG-29 aircraft free of charge to the Government of the United States of America," Rau said in a statement.
