Vice Minister of Culture and Sports Serik Zharasbayev promised that all shortcomings in the field of free sections for schoolchildren would be eliminated, Standard.kz reported.

At a meeting on the state sports order with deputy governors of the regions, Zharasbaev focused on the issue of financing children's sports and unpaid funds from service providers.

“There are a lot of complaints about the children's sports financing program. It's no secret that there is a gap. We will approach each complaint individually and carry out work to eliminate shortcomings. We ask the executive committee of cities and regions to closely monitor the work of local sports departments. The project will continue. Let me remind you once again that the development of children's and mass sports is a priority task of our state, ”the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports quotes Zharasbaev as saying.

He added that ex.com. will allocate additional funds and step up work on accepting applications from both service providers and parents.

Now, under the project, 162,208 children go in for sports free of charge. By the end of the year, it is planned to cover 352,939 children.
